Purpose

Facilitate meaningful learning experiences for allied health and medical students, helping them strengthen clinical skills, improve job placement opportunities, reduce health disparities within communities, and ultimately enhance overall patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Length of Program

Qualifications

All students must be actively enrolled and have good standing with an accredited four-year college or university. Preferred academic programs are Public Health, Healthcare Management, Health Education, Health Information Technology, Nursing, Physician's Assistant, and Medicine.

Duration

All internships and practice experiences will span one (1) full academic semester, providing students with structured, hands-on learning opportunities. However, students who wish to gain additional experience or broaden their skill set are welcome to complete more than one internship throughout their academic program.
